MALAYSIA COMPETITION COMMISSION’s (MyCC) LAUNCH OF THE “COMPETITION ACT 2010: HANDBOOK FOR GENERAL PUBLIC”

Members of the media are cordially invited to the Malaysia Competition Commission’s (MyCC) launch of the “Competition Act 2010: Handbook for General Public” . The event details are as follows:
Day/Date : Monday 16 July 2012
Time : 2.30 pm “ 5.00 pm
Venue : Westin 1 Ballroom, Level 2, The Westin Hotel, Kuala Lumpur
This event will be officiated by Hon. Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, Minister of Domestic Trade, Co-operatives & Consumerism.
The MyCC’s “Competition Act 2010: Handbook for General Public” is an educational handbook targeted to the public at large, outlining what the Competition Act is about and the role of the MyCC in enforcing the Act. A seminar on the Competition Act will also be held after the launch, attended by members of trade associations and consumer associations, and other invited members of the public. Members of the media are also invited to join the seminar should they wish to know more about the Act.
