MMU AND IEM TO HELP BOOST ENGINEERING CAREERS

Multimedia University (MMU) will be signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) so as to help ensure that MMU’s engineering students and graduates could systematically boost their career development through being affiliated with IEM.
With the MoU, IEM will be able to recruit MMU’s engineering students even before they graduate, and thus help them better leverage their qualifications as they enter the job market. IEM was established in 1959, and its primary function is to promote and advance the science and profession of engineering in any or all of its disciplines and to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas related to engineering.
Together with IEM, MMU seeks to raise the standards of the engineering profession in Malaysia, namely by further qualifying and developing their skills, supporting their efforts to improve themselves, as well as enable them to contribute back to society.
