  THE 4 TH MALAYSIAN FINANCIAL PLANNING COUNCIL (MFPC) INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ISLAMIC WEALTH MANAGEMENT & FINANCIAL PLANNING AND MFPC 7TH GRADUATION CEREMONY & DINNER

The 4th Malaysian Financial Planning Council (MFPC) International Conference on Islamic Wealth Management & Financial Planning is set to adopt and bring awareness to the public on the advancement of Fintech in Malaysia. With the theme of “Islamic Wealth Management and Fintech Solutions” speakers will discuss on the importance and the growth of Fintech as the new mechanism in Malaysia. Moreover, the conference is among the pioneer discussing and reviewing the importance of Fintech in bringing up the Nation to the next new level by creating, building preserving the wealth accordance with the principle of Shariah and Islamic Law.

The Malaysian Financial Planning Council (MFPC) will also be hosting the 7th MFPC Graduation Ceremony & Dinner. A total of 320 graduates would be conferred the titles Registered Financial Planner (RFP), Shariah Registered Financial Planner (Shariah RFP) and Affiliate RFP and Shariah RFP respectively, the ceremony fortifier MFPC’s vision to be the premier umbrella body representing Financial Planning Professionals and Financial Services Profiders. Both of the programmes; Registered Financial Planner (RFP) & Shariah RFP are prerequisite for licensing applications recognised by Bank Negara Malaysia and Securities Commission, Malaysia.

About Malaysian Financial Planning Council (MFPC)
MFPC is an independent body set up with the noble objective of promoting nationwide development and enhancement of the financial planning profession. MFPC provides an evolving set of Best Practice Standards and Code of Ethics that must be adhered to by Registered Financial Planner (RFP) and Shariah RFP designees. This requirement is aimed at ensuring that the public will be served with the highest quality of financial planning services. MFPC was registered on 10th of March, 2004 under the Societies Act, 1996. The Registered Financial Planner (RFP) programme was launched by the previous Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia, Y.Bhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. Zeti Akhtar Aziz in November 2002.

The RFP designation has been approved by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) as the prerequisite qualification to apply for the Financial Advisers’ License and Financial Advisers’ Representative License. RFP designation has also been duly approved by Securities Commission Malaysia for the application of the Capital Markets Services License (CMSL) in view of the introduction of the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007.
