OPENING CEREMONY BY YB DATUK SERI UTAMA TENGKU ADNAN BIN TENGKU MANSOR, MINISTER OF FEDERAL TERRITORIES
Malaysia's premier and largest SuperMoto Championship (MSMC) will hit the tracks at Taman Tasik Permaisuri with a flag-off by YB Datuk Seri Utama Tengku Adnan bin Tengku Mansor, Minister of Federal Territories and YBhg. Datuk Seri Hj. Mhd. Amin Nordin bin Abd. Aziz, the Mayor of Kuala Lumpur.
70 top national SuperMoto riders will belt out at the 1 kilometre track for standing points and the Round 2 championship title under five classes: SM Open, SM Novice, SM CKD Open, SM CKD and SM Veteran.
Competing riders include Muhammad Ibrahim Norrodin, younger brother to Malaysia’s Grand Prix motorcycle rider Muhamad Adam Norrodin; FIM Asia Supermoto Championship’s champions Muhd Habibullah Salleh (Gabit) and Khairy Zakaria.

Malaysian SuperMoto Championship is Malaysia’s premier and largest supermoto championship across the nation. Established since 2011, MSMC is Malaysia’s one and only supermoto championship race sanctioned by the Automobile Association of Malaysia, and has given birth to numerous international supermoto riders including Muhd Habibullah (#27 Gabit), Khairy Zakaria (Khairy) and Mohd Al-Amirul Ashshahid (Gaban).
