LAUNCHING OF REPORT ON NATURAL GAS

The Malaysian Gas Association (MGA) is honored to invite esteemed media representatives to the official launch and presentation of a brand new report produced by Investvine on the importance of natural gas to Malaysia entitled NATURAL GAS: FLIPPING THE SWITCH – Dawn of a new era.
The report will address the commonly asked questions on the role of natural gas in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. What environmental and economic benefits does gas bring to the nation and the region? In the push for clean energy and energy security, why should natural gas remain an integral part of the energy mix today and in the future?
The report deciphers common myths and highlights the advantages of natural gas in terms of energy efficiency and costs.
It underscores the considerable positive impact that natural gas has on the environment and quality of life in comparison to other fossil fuels, as well as the importance of natural gas for the sustainable growth of Malaysia’s economy.
Finally, it sheds a light on how significant the extended use of natural gas is for Malaysia to achieve its goal of reaching developed nation status by 2020.
