JOIN MGAC 2017'S PANEL DISCUSSION TO UNDERSTAND YOUR COLLEAGUES BETTER

Friday 21/07/2017

Ever had a "generation gap" moment between your senior or junior colleagues? Generational conflict in the workplace (Millennial employees vs. Gen X, Boomer employees vs. Gen X, and so forth) has become a growing topic amongst consultants, speakers, and authors.

This is amongst other challenges that come in a working environment. Fresh graduates are struggling to find their footing in a corporate world when they are told to be game changes but are forced to be obedient followers all at the same time. Is one better than the other? Are millennials thoroughly a problem to the corporate world?

Maybank has always been ahead of its game in meeting consumers' expectations and pioneering the banking industry in Malaysia with an international network of over 2,400 branches and offices in 20 countries and employing 45,000 employees.

One of the many employee and employment initiatives Maybank champions is the Go Ahead Challenge (MGAC) - an award-winning international case challenge open to all students and graduates from any discipline of studies. This programme was put together with the intention to give students an opportunity to experience real life working challenges through case studies that will put them to the true test and help them discover their career path from it. The level of intensity, excitement and creativity of the competition will ensure participants an experience that is something truly transformative and meaningful and life changing.

In light of their mission to be always be at the heart of the community and its employees, Maybank would like to shed some light on the topic of how can employees and employers 'take over tomorrow' through all the challenges a corporate world has to offer. Join a staller panelist of game changers including Marc Woo, Head of Performance and Finance for Google Malaysia and Puan Nora Abdul Manaf, Group Chief Human Capital Officer of Maybank Group and Datuk Munirah Binti Haji Abdul Hamid, Founder & Managing Director of Neuramatix and Vice President of PERTIWI Soup Kitchen who will share their impeccable knowledge on innovative business models, employee empowerment, discovering your true potential and redefining generation gap. This unique panel discussion will be an open forum where the participants of MGAC 2017 will get to ask questions and discuss matters with some of Malaysia's best leaders.

We would like you to join us to get more insight to people management skills through the eyes of these selected entrepreneur experts.
