HANDOVER OF DANA BULAN BERMAKNA & HARI RAYA CELEBRATION

580 underprivileged children from Tesco’s adopted schools under the PINTAR Foundation School Adoption programme will benefit from the funds raised under the DANA BULAN BERMAKNA campaign, which ran from 11 May to 12 July 2017.
The 10-week campaign engaged with Tesco customers, encouraging them to purchase selected Tesco branded products, from which 0.5% of the proceeds went into the fund. The funds raised exceeded the target of RM700,000, and will go towards helping the children overcome daily challenges, faced at home and in school.
Tesco Malaysia Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Paul Ritchie will be handing over a cheque to the Deputy Minister of Education, Yang Berhormat Dato’ P. Kamalanathan who will be receiving the collected funds on behalf of the beneficiaries.
