BANK ISLAM TEAMS WITH COGNIZANT TO REVOLUTIONISE NEW DIGITAL BANKING PLATFORM

Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad (Bank Islam) plans to build a “Digital Bank” within Bank Islam, to fully embrace the opportunities created by financial technology. To drive this strategy, it will be entering a strategic partnership with Cognizant, a unit of US-based Cognizant, a member of the NASDAQ-100.
Bank Islam’s Chief Executive Officer, Encik Khairul Kamarudin and Cognizant Malaysia Business Leader, Encik Effendi Azmi Hashim will sign the strategic partnership agreement on behalf of their companies. Cognizant’s roles are to provide strategic and operational direction to build, grow and manage the transformational agenda of Bank Islam.
In conjunction with this signing ceremony, Bank Islam cordially invite members of the media to cover the event.
