INFINEON TECHNOLOGIES BLOCK 8 OPENING CEREMONY

MIDA is pleased to inform that YB Dato' Seri Ong Ka Chuan, Second Minister of International Trade and Industry will be delivering a speech during the launch of Infineon Technologies, Block 8 on Tuesday, 8 August 2017.
Infineon and Malaysia has been enjoying a long standing and close partnership in the E&E industry that dates back more than four decades. Infineon started off as one of the pioneering multinational companies (MNCs) in Melaka, where it used to be part of the semiconductor group of Siemens in 1973. Since then, it has grown in strength and size, spinning off to form Infineon Technologies in 1999. Infineon’s presence in Malaysia spans the end-to-end semiconductor manufacturing process, incorporating both front-end and back-end activities through its three facilities namely Infineon Technologies Malaysia, Infineon Technologies Advanced Logic and Infineon Technologies Kulim.
A media conference will be held in conjunction of the event.
