Upholding High Integrity of Malaysian financial planners
The AFPSC 2017 event which is in its second year of running is organized to strengthen professional standards, one of the key initiatives presented during the Securities Commission Industry Dialogue Session 2014. The theme of this year AFPSC 2017 is “Upholding High Integrity – The Cornerstone in Financial Planning”. The purpose of this conference is to address current issues facing the financial planning profession and help licensed financial planners /advisers (“LFP/A”) build better clients’ trust to enhance their acceptance of the financial planning profession.
The AFPSC 2017 features both overseas and local speakers and will be attended by LFP/A, regulators, consultants, and other financial industry professionals.

About Annual Financial Planning Signature Conference (AFPSC) 2017
The AFPSC 2017 event is jointly organised by all regulator-recognised financial planning associations in Malaysia. The event is now in its second year in running. This year, the event is led by Malaysian Financial Planning Council (MFPC), supported by the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA), Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM) and Malaysian Financial Planners and Advisers Association (MFPAA).
The AFPSC 2017 aims to support and build the financial planning profession as well as foster better working relationship among the four financial planning associations in Malaysia. In addition, it provides opportunities to the licensed financial planners /advisers (“LFP/A”) to meet and discuss contemporary issues on a broad range of subjects. As such, this conference is a vital platform for practitioners to contribute to the financial planning industry, discuss new strategies for the development of financial planning industry as well as to promote a harmonious working relationships between the regulators and the LFP/A in promoting the financial planning industry to the public.
