[MEDIA INVITATION] LIVE FINAL ROUND AND AWARD CEREMONY FOR THE LEGION BUSINESS CHALLENGE 2017 - MALAYSIA'S INAUGURAL "EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING" BUSINESS CHALLENGE

Members of the media are cordially invited to the live Final Round and Award Ceremony of the Legion Business Challenge 2017 (LBC2017) – taking place on 23 November 2017, at the Pullman Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.
The Legion Business Challenge is a computer-based experiential learning exercise, using the world leading Capsim Foundation Business Simulation Platform which is embedded in academic and corporate training in USA, Europe and Australia. The concept of experiential learning is now being recognised and taken up by leading Malaysian Universities for integration into academic courses and by forward looking Malaysian Corporations for incorporation in their in-house management training programmes.
Approximately 40 Teams from leading Malaysian Universities and Corporations competed, over 8 days, in Round 1 of the Challenge which completed on 15 November 2017. The Top 6 Teams from Round 1 - Kolej Damansara Utama (2), Putra Business School, UTMKL Azman Hashim International Business School, National Land Finance Co-operative Society and JFBC a group of private individuals - will compete live, over the day, on Thursday 23 November at the at the Pullman Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, between 9 am and 5 pm. This will be followed by an evening tea reception between 5 pm and 6 pm.
The Awards Ceremony will take place between 6 pm and 7.30 pm on the same day. YB Senator Dato’ Dr Loga Bala Mohan, the Deputy Minister of Federal Territories will be attending and speaking at the Awards Ceremony as Chief Guest and will present the awards to the winning teams.
The Legion Business Challenge 2017 is a Business Excellence initiative, aimed at improving Malaysian management skills and competencies. The Course allows participants to experience making management decisions and learn from results in a competitive team-based environment.
