THE GLOBAL COMPETITIVENESS AWARD GALA DINNER - GLOBAL INNOVATION SUMMIT 2017 (GIS2017)
Friday 24/11/2017
It is with great pleasure that we are extending this media invitation to the following event:
The Global Competitiveness Award
Gala Dinner - Global Innovation Summit 2017 (GIS2017)
Day/Date : Wednesday 29 November 2017
Time : 7.00 pm - 10.00 pm
Venue : Hilton Sentral Ballroom, Level 6, Hilton Kuala Lumpur Sentral, Kuala Lumpur
The Global Competitiveness Award was established in 2016 by the Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils (GFCC) to recognise leaders who have advanced regional or national competitiveness at the nexus of the public and private sectors.
There will be 2 winners for this year’s award; a Malaysian personality and an international figure. The winners were chosen by a panel of internationally renowned experts and will be honoured at the Global Innovation Summit 2017 (GIS2017) Gala Dinner.
The world needs creative and committed leaders to help seize the opportunities and meet the challenges of shaping a future of sustainable production and consumption, and a world of work that does not leave workers behind in a tidal wave of change.
These roles models serve to inspire the next generation of men and women who will lead their countries, businesses and societies on unchartered pathways into a future in which disruption and change are the new normal.
GIS2017 convenes high-level leaders from business, government, academia, civil society, and global think tanks for lively discussions on the state of global competitiveness and ways to enhance innovation capacity worldwide. This is the 4th instalment of the summit, carrying the theme The Sustainable Future of Production, Consumption and Work.
