INVITATION: TKC WALK-A-RUN CARNIVAL (# TWRC2018)

The Malay Girls' College/Tunku Kurshiah College Old Girls Association (MGC/TKC OGA) will be organizing a TKC Walk-a-Run Carnival (# TWRC2018) with the theme of "Fun-a-Thon". This is the 2nd time the MGC/TKC OGA organizing such an event, after it was held on 15th February 2015 at Kompleks Sukan Air, Putrajaya. The main purpose of this event is to help raise funds about RM120,000 for the continuous development of the School Sports Program including its Sports Facilities, apart from promoting a healthy lifestyle. The event will be graced by YAB Datin Paduka Seri Rosmah Mansor, as TKC alumni.
This Carnival's main attraction is a 5km walk or run with the mapped route within the campus of University Malaya, and participants were encouraged to dress in various costumes since there are also prizes for the costume. There will also be a 4X100m relay featuring Celebrity (Sports and Non-Sports) in each team along with 3 other runners in addition to the 5km walk or run. Beside that, there are also the ongoing activities such as Aerobics, Zumba and Poco-Poco for the adults and also a Bouncy Castle to entertain the younger children. We are targeting for 1000 people from all walks of life to join this Carnival. A variety of prizes await the fastest runners, the best dressed and the best selfies.
