CIMB's foray into cycling has seen the company venture into sponsoring professional cyclists via the CIMB Pro-Cycling Team, nurture potential cycling athletes through the CIMB-JCM Junior Development Programme, as well as host the CIMB Cycle, an annual cycling event for professional riders, cycling enthusiast and casual riders alike.

CIMB Cycle 2018 is back for the second year with close to 3000 participants, this time from 26 countries! It will be held at the iconic Sepang International Circuit, giving participants a thrilling experience of starting and finishing at a world-class global sporting venue. This was inspired by the annual Paris-Roubaix road race, which culminates in the Velodrome Andre-Petrieux in Roubaix.

We would like to invite your journalist and photographer to the event which will be graced by Malaysia's very own Olympian and national cyclist, Azizulhasni Awang. Tengku Dato' Sri Zafrul Aziz, Group CEO of CIMB, will also be present at the event.

There will also be an exclusive Meet and Greet session with Azizulhasni Awang for your journalist and photographer.

6.30 am : Arrival of Media

7.00 am : Participants to gather at designated starting area

7.15 am : CIMB Cycle: Endurance Ride 160km flag off

7.20 am : CIMB Cycle: Challenge Ride 90km flag off

10.30 am : Meet and Greet with Azizulhasni Awang and Media

11.30 am : Lunch

12.00 pm : Prize Giving Ceremony

2.30 pm : End
