Program Keusahawanan Taylor’s-CIMB Islamic
Entrepreneurs play a key role in the economy, stimulating and activating economic activity. A society can benefit from entrepreneurs as they bring success, prosperity, growth and further opportunity, and countries which encourage entrepreneurs are often more dynamic and innovative. Successful entrepreneurs improve our standard of living while creating wealth.
As such important assets, they need to be cultivated, motivated and rewarded. Since last year, Taylor’s Education Group and CIMB Islamic Bank Berhad have collaborated to upskill entrepreneurs from Projek Perumahan Rakyat, raising them from poverty by equipping them with the technical know-how to grow and sustain a business. Selected entrepreneurs also presented their business plans, with promising plans given grants to further develop. The number of participants this year has grown from last year, and this year there are over 120 participating entrepreneurs.
We would like to invite members of the media to witness the presentation of the grant winners for the 2018 edition of Program Keusahawanan Taylor’s-CIMB Islamic, and encourage others to step up in supporting entrepreneurship as well as inspire more entrepreneurs. The details are as follows:
