#IDAREYOUCHALLENGE2017 GRAND FINALE, 3 SEPTEMBER 2018, LANAI KIJANG, BANK NEGARA MALAYSIA

A youth engagement program to create awareness on the importance of financial planning and protection among the young generation
We are pleased to inform you that LIAM's innovative youth engagement program, #IDAREYOUChallenge2017 has reached its most interesting part – the Grand Finale
Supported by the Ministry of Education Malaysia, the #IDAREYOUChallenge2017 is aimed to create awareness on financial planning and protection among the young generation. The Challenge, saw the participation of 20 Universities in Malaysia and has attracted over 2,500 Group entries.
The Grand Finale which features the top 10 talented finalists; pitching their creative business plans with supporting videos to the insurance industry players. A total of RM50,000 cash prizes will be up for grabs in various categories in the Challenge.

Time: 2.00 pm - 5.30 pm
Venue: Multipurpose Hall, Lanai Kijang, Bank Negara Malaysia

2.00 pm : Arrival of Guests and Media (Registration & Instant Photo Op)
2.30 pm : Opening Remarks by Mr Ramzi Toubassy,
Chairman, Industry Promotion Committee, LIAM
2.40 pm : Special address by Ms Anusha Thavarajah, LIAM President
2.50 pm : Speech by Guest of Honour, Encik Nazrul Hisham bin Mohd Noh,
Assistant Governor, Bank Negara Malaysia
3.00 pm : Presentation by 10 Finalists #IDAREYOUChallenge2017
4.40 pm : Prize Giving Ceremony
5.10 pm : Refreshments

About LIAM
Formed in 1974, the Life Insurance Association of Malaysia (LIAM) is a trade association registered under the Societies Act 1966. LIAM has a total of 16 members, of which 14 are life insurance companies and 2 life reinsurance companies.
