INDUSTRY DIALOGUE WITH YB GOBIND SINGH DEO, MINISTER OF COMMUNICATIONS & MULTIMEDIA

It gives us great pleasure to specially invite your journalist and photographer for an industry session with Yang Berhormat Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Communications and Multimedia.
Details of the event are as below:

Venue: Common Ground, Menara Ken, 37, Jalan Burhanuddin Helmi, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, 60000 Kuala Lumpur
This session is part of a drive by the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia and Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) to scale up local companies into becoming tech icons in the global arena. Some of the objectives of the industry session with the Minister are to highlight key areas of private sector contributions to the ecosystem, as well as a focus on the areas that call for policy changes, and strategic monetary or non-monetary support. Areas of discussion will also cover talent development, the funding ecosystem, and community building.
Three presenters from the industry with in-depth experience on the global stage will also share their recommendations for the tech ecosystem and the government. The recommendations will be discussed by 4 panelists and a moderator representing the local tech ecosystem.
