Being ethical is about doing the right thing even when no one is watching. Ethics and professionalism matter to us at ACCA because they’re the foundations of the accountancy profession.
To mark the 2018 Global Ethics Day on October 17, ACCA Malaysia is proud to host a breakfast event that we will be hosting on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur. The ACCA “Doing the Right Thing” event aims to promote awareness of practicing good ethics within the accounting profession and is a part of ACCA’s global effort to put a spotlight on all things ethical.
We are pleased to inform that our Guest of Honour for this event is Dato' Merina Abu Tahir, Chair of ACCA Malaysia Advisory Committee. At this event, we will also be having a panel discussion on “What it means to be Ethical & Professional” and launching a nationwide “Doing the Right Thing” i-Pledge Campaign to lead the way in creating strong awareness and to encourage Malaysians to make a commitment towards good ethics.
