THE INAUGURAL YOUNG MUSLIM FORUM 2018

Institute of Islamic Understanding Malaysia (IKIM) with the cooperation of Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) will organize The Inaugural Young Muslim Forum 2018.
Details of the event are as follows:

The inaugural Young Muslim Forum (YMF) 2018 aims to be the Muslim youth’s premier gathering on leadership that examines the most pressing issues impacting the world today. It will be a gathering of thought leaders and professionals to explore pertinent ideas, to build a consensus on perspectives, strategies and solution in addressing contemporary challenges- hence breaking down the knowledge and action dichotomy in contemporary life. We believe that substantial progress in today’s society can happen when youths from different sectors, who have the drive and the influence to make a difference are connected and work in synergy.
The main objectives of the forum are:
(i) To raise awareness on our respective roles in the community, and the rich insights that we can derive from religion to address our modern challenges;
(ii) To enhance thingking to move away from short-sightedness and broad-mindedness in addresing our modern challenges;
(iii) To improve action the conversation, abservations and insights can help form useful inputs for various stakeholders in the development of Muslim youth.
