YAB TUAN CHOW KON YEOW TO ANNOUNCE COOPERATIVE INITIATIVES AND PARTNERSHIPS WITH SIEMENS IN THE AREA OF MOBILITY & DIGITALIZATION
With the Penang government's declaration to transform the state into a smart state under its new development plan for 2030, Siemens Malaysia is poised to embark on crucial initiatives and introduce solutions that would support the needs of the state's ecosystem. As a means of propagating the advancement of technologies and the shift in landscape that can be expected from the wave of digitalization, the multi-national conglomerate organized a large-scale roadshow themed as "The Siemens Digitalization Expedition". The official announcement will be held at Setia SPICE Convention Centre which will reveal forward-looking target of 2030's goals.
The official announcement will be graced by The Chief Minister of Penang YAB Tuan Chow Kon Yeow accompanied by Siemens Malaysia President & CEO Mr Indranil Lahiri. The comprehensive portfolio of Siemens in sectors like Building Technologies, Smart Manufacturing and Automation, Energy Management and Power Generation with the capability and capacity in creating smart infrastructure and mobility, automating factories and processes, as well as in enabling energy grid security and flexibility - all of which serves the bigger plan for a smart state.
