JOINT DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT SIGNING CEREMONY FOR A RM500 MIL WASTE-TO-ENERGY FACILITY IN SELANGOR

Worldwide Holdings Berhad, a leader in environmental management service, is set to pioneer a groundbreaking and the largest Waste-to-Energy project in Malaysia. The facility, which will be built at its existing sanitary landfill in Jeram, Selangor will cost RM500 million.
Worldwide Holdings Berhad and Western Power Clean Energy Sdn Bhd - a joint venture between China Western Power Industrial Co. and China Western Power International, are signing a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) to build the Waste-to-Energy facility, to be witnessed by YAB Tuan Amirudin Shari, Dato’ Menteri Besar of Selangor. YB Dato' Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali and YB Puan Zuraida Kamaruddin have been invited to the event as well.
