  INVITATION: SARAWAK TO HOST ASIA'S TOP ARTISTS FOR THE PRESTIGIOUS 23RD ASIAN TELEVISION AWARDS IN KUCHING

For the first time in history, the Asian Television Awards will be hosted in Malaysia, a new home for the international prestigious red carpet and television awards. Sarawak, Asia's most exotic eco-tourism destination, will play host through the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports of Sarawak to organize & support the glamour and festivities of the 23 Asian Television Awards (ATA) at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) on Jan 11 to 13.The State Government has newly added a 3rd day of excitement to ATA by organizing a public concert for Sarawak on Jan 13 at the same venue. Held annually over three evenings with a confirmed attendance by a long list of Asia's Top Celebrities such as Alvin Chong, SF9, Gary Valenciano, Via Vallen, Qu Wanting and many more. The Awards draw hundreds of entries each year from a wide range of broadcasters, including free-to-air TV stations, pay-tv platforms, digital streaming services as well as many independent production houses in Asia.

Over the 3 days of awards and festivals, Kuching like Cannes, France will experience the most prestigious and glamorous awards in the heart of Sarawak,entertained by a gala dinner, live show awards, red carpet arrivals, power-packed stage performances and a concert performed by several popular international talents.

The event will take place on 11 to the 13 of January 2019 (Friday - Sunday).
