THOUSAND RUNNERS INCLUDING 500 STUDENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE OCEAN HERO CONSERVATION RUN 2019 TO GENERATE AWARENESS ON ENDANGERED MARINE MAMMALS & ITS OCEAN ENVIRONMENT, IN LINE WITH THE UNITED NATIONS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDG-14)

ALEX YOONG AND NING BAIZURA JOINS FORCE WITH Y.M. TENGKU DATO’ HISHAMMUDDIN TO LEAD THE OCEAN HERO CONSERVATION RUN TO ACCELERATE THE GROWTH OF ECO-TOURISM FOR MALAYSIA
OCEAN HERO CONSERVATION RUN will be held at Sunsuria City Celebration Centre, Sepang on Saturday, 2nd March 2019. The 5KM charity run themed 'Plastic-Free Ocean’, aims to educate Malaysians about the serious issues of plastic pollution. This noble effort is in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, SDG 14 Life Below Water.
The OCEAN HERO CONSERVATION RUN will be graced by The Guest of Honor and Patron, Y.M. Tengku Dato’ Hishammuddin Zaizi Bin Y.A.M Tengku Azman Shah Alhaj, accompanied by the Ocean Hero Conservation Run Ambassadors, Alex Yoong and Ning Baizura to celebrate the historic moment and to further embrace a national movement for a ban of usage of straws; conservation of the ocean from litter; and to generate awareness on endangered turtles & other marine mammals within its ocean environment, Mr. Stefan Preisner, United Nations Resident Coordinator will be present to loan his wisdom and support for the above-mentioned mission.
All media representatives are entitled to receive goodie bags / race pack souvenirs that includes comes with an exclusive t-shirt, a special edition sling bag and finisher medal as a token of appreciation for supporting and celebrating the genuine CSR efforts to help save the environment and accelerate the growth of eco-tourism for Malaysia.
