GRAB AND MINISTRY OF TRANSPORTATION ANNOUNCES PASSENGER VERIFICATION FEATURE

Grab's #SaferEveryday initiative is a regional effort to increase the safety standards, practices and a series of product enhancements to encourage safer user habits on the platform across Southeast Asia. In Malaysia, this initiative will now extend to a formal collaboration with the Ministry of Transport for the new Passenger Selfie Verification feature that will be key to raising transport safety standards for the industry.
The event will be graced by Malaysia's Minister of Transport, Y.B Tuan Anthony Loke Siew Fook, and Country Head for Grab Malaysia, Sean Goh. In addition to speaking at the event, the Minister will also be sharing his thoughts on the collaboration at a press conference immediately after.
