It is with pleasure that we invite members of the media to cover the above-mentioned programme organised by Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM).

FRIM Technology Talk aims to highlight the findings and outputs of the R&D projects to targeted stakeholders as well as meeting the needs of stakeholders in forestry and forest products through the provision of innovation and solutions. It also serves as a platform for sharing information on forestry.
Over 100 participants comprising representatives from government and private agencies related to forestry; logging concession operators (Forest Management Unit-FMU); wood-based companies such as sawmills, plywood, wood drying and furniture; local authorities; state park management; resort operators; forest plantation managers; as well as herbal industry entrepreneurs are expected to attend the programme.
Participants will have the opportunity to speak with FRIM and Forest Department Sarawak experts on their research findings, R&D products and services. The scopes to be presented include:
- Biodiversity and Forestry & Environment
- Forest Biotechnology, Natural Products and Economic & Strategic Analysis
- Forest Products
A Business Matching session will also be held for further discussion between participants and FRIM researchers. If a project or service discussed during the session becomes reality, the participants are entitled to 10% discount from FRIM.
