INVITATION TO PRODUCTIVITY NEXUS "ROCKING RETAIL AND F&B" TALK. LAUNCH OF "GROWTH MALAYSIA PAVILLION WITH JD.COM" (CHINA'S LARGEST ECOMMERCE COMPANY) AND "BRIDGING TALENT WITH INDUSTRY PROGRAMME - CLICKED"

MPC is celebrating productivity best practice and success stories, and at the same time heighten awareness of the initiatives under the Productivity Nexus - to educate, make aware, excite and engage the enterprises in the Retail and F&B Industry. The theme is "Growing Beyond our Borders". The event will be officiated by YB Tuan Chong Chieng Jen, Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs of Malaysia. The said talk will feature JD.com, China’s largest and world’s third largest (after Amazon and Alphabet Google) eCommerce company in terms of sales revenue (USD67.2 billion per year). JD.com’s Senior VP of Retail Solutions, Mr. Alex Kramer and Mr. Lionel Jin Chentian, their Manager will share with approximately 550 retail and F&B enterprises on solutions on expansion beyond Malaysian shores through JD.com’s offerings. Other speakers include Datuk Wan Latif Wan Musa, the CEO of Matrade, Datuk Seri Garry Chua, President of MRCA, Datuk Ringo Low of Atmosphere 360, Mr. CC Puan of G3 Global and Sensetime China among others. The Minister will also launch the "Growth Malaysia Pavillion" with JD.com platform where 50 enterprises will onboard and export with JD.com’s retail solutions. A talent development initiative to recruit, train and place students for work and internship in retail and F&B industry – known as “ClickED” - will also be launched with collaboration between the Universities, Polytechnics and Community Colleges with Employers and Associations in the Retail and F&B Industry.
