5.30 pm: End of MTCE 2019

The program's chosen theme "Engineering an I4.0 Eco-System" is timely as Malaysia prepares the necessary platforms and infrastructure to embrace the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The distinguished speakers and learned panel members will debate the much talked about issues related to the development of the country towards fulfilling the visions of the National Policy on Industry 4.0, the Industry4WRD launched in October 2018.

The MTCE 2019 is open for industry leaders, small and medium entrepreneurs, start-up business owners, academicians, researchers, students and anyone seeking to get the latest development in I4.0. Experts from the industry will be sharing their challenges, achievements and development roadmaps while participants explore partnership opportunities to equip Malaysia’s local I4.0 talents and solution providers towards the Fourth Industrial Revolution. An estimated number of 500 participants will attend the event.

Highlights of MTCE 2019

This 2-day event attracts leading authorities from government, business, academia & industry associations keen to share their experiences and to look at best practices for practitioners to implement change across their organisation.

Running parallel to the Conference are Mini I4.0 Exhibition, Mini Business Accelerator Program, Robotics and Drone Competition as well as MTDC's Annual program, ReUnites.

There will be three categories for the Robotics and Drone Competition. There are Autonomous Drone (Python Coding Competition) and Line Follower (Arduino Coding Competition) both open to students. The other category is High Speed Line Follower which open to all.

ReUnites is a platform for productive working relationships and strategic networking among companies within MTDC's ecosystem. This year's theme 'Around The World in 80 Days' will focus on Export Opportunities and Challenges for SME's. ReUnites 2019 will gather more than 200 MTDC’s existing and new fund recipients. The networking and sharing experience session will be beneficial to all the companies in the ecosystem.

Your cooperation in providing news coverage for this event is greatly appreciated.
