THE AWARD CEREMONY OF THE 12TH INTERNATIONAL KUALA LUMPUR ECO FILM FESTIVAL

“A DAY OF CELEBRATION TO RECOGNIZE LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL FILMMAKERS ADVOCATING FOR ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY AND CLIMATE ACTION”
Members of the media are cordially invited to the Award Ceremony of the 12th International Kuala Lumpur Eco Film Festival (KLEFF).
The 12th KLEFF Award Ceremony is a prestigious event to celebrate the work of filmmakers and cinematographers from around the globe advocating for environmental sustainability and Climate Action. This year, KLEFF received a total submission of 233 environmentally-themed films from 48 countries and out of these, 86 ground-breaking films of various genres and lengths will be screened at the festival.
The Award Ceremony will be attended by KLEFF notable partners including:
1. Yang Berhormat Puan Yeo Bee Yin, Minister of the Ministry of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change (MESTECC)
2. Dr. Nagulendran Kangayatkarasu, Deputy Secretary General (Environment and Climate Change), MESTECC
3. Mr. Syed Ahmad Bin Syed Mustafa, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Malaysian Green Technology Corporation

Time : 12.00 pm - 3.00 pm
Venue : Conference Hall 2, KLCC @ IGEM
Note to editors:
1. Good visuals and interviews with members of KLEFF guests and filmmakers can be expected, though subject to availability.
2. All RSVP MUST be made before the 7th of October (Monday, 2pm) as the final seat arrangement and access pass to IGEM will be given henceforward.
3. The seat arrangement of media members during the Award Ceremony will be assigned by the event organizer and subject to availability (first-come, first-serve basis).
