BIMB INVESTMENT ESG INVESTMENT TALK 2019: SUSTAINABILITY FOR FINANCIAL REWARDS

BIMB Investment Management Berhad (BIMB Investment) will be organising an ESG Investment Talk 2019: Sustainability for Financial Rewards.
The one-day event will be highlighting insights on how markets and societies are evolving and adapting towards a smarter, cleaner and healthier marketplace. It also focuses on the latest Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) data technology in identifying companies that are well-positioned for the future.
Georg Kell, Chairman of Arabesque Asset Management UK and former Executive Director of United Nations Global Compact, a prominent figure and the man who coined the term ESG and corporate sustainability, will be the key speaker of the event.
BIMB Investment also will be launching a Global Shariah-ESG Equity fund for retail investors at this event. The BIMB-Arabesque i Global Dividend Fund 1 was launched in November 2015 as a wholesale fund. Since its inception, the fund has demonstrated its ability to provide sustainable returns to investors and remain resilient in the challenging market environment. Through this latest offering, BIMB Investment is able to meet the different needs of the market, enhancing value to its investors.
