YAYASAN PETRONAS TO CROWN ALL ABOUT YOUTH 2019 - CHAIRMAN'S CIRCLE AWARD RM30,000 PRIZE UP FOR GRABS

Yayasan PETRONAS, the CSR arm of PETRONAS, will be announcing the winner of All About Youth 2019 – Chairman’s Circle Award, an annual secondary school competition that focuses on driving social innovation for the well-being of society.
The programme takes students from solutions to startup by giving them the opportunity to engage with businesses and social innovators, to potentially take their prototypes through to commercialisation.
Five teams from Terengganu, Johor, Sabah and Sarawak will be presenting their projects according to this year’s theme “Reducing Carbon Emissions for a Better Future”. Each team, comprising five secondary students (from 20 students) will showcase prototypes of their solutions for the chance to win RM30,000 and the opportunity to commercialise their project with a social enterprise.
The students will be judged by a panel comprising Ministry of Entrepreneur Development Secretary General YBhg Datuk Wan Suraya Wan Mohd Radzi*; Me.reka Chief Executive Officer Gurpreet Singh Dhillon and Yayasan Inovasi Malaysia Chief Executive Officer Sharmila Mohamed Salleh.
Members of the media are cordially invited, with a photographer/videographer, to the event for an opportunity to interview Yayasan PETRONAS Chairman Datuk Ahmad Nizam Salleh and Yayasan PETRONAS Chief Executive Officer, Lita Osman who will also be present at a special Hi-Tea Roundtable for the Media.
