According to MIDA, for the period of January to June 2020, Malaysia recorded total approved investments of RM64.8 billion in the manufacturing, services and primary sectors. Of these, the manufacturing sector attracted the largest portion of approved investments for the first half of 2020, contributing more than half (55.1 per cent) or RM35.7 billion [1].
