LAUNCH OF TRIPART COLLABORATION & CIMB ARTOBER HOTEL ART FAIR 2021 OPENING CEREMONY

On behalf of the TripART collaboration between CIMB Group, the Cultural Economy Development Agency (“CENDANA”) and Yayasan Hasanah, the impact-based foundation of Khazanah Nasional Berhad, we would like to cordially invite members of the media to cover the official launch of the TripART collaboration & CIMB Artober Hotel Art Fair 2021 opening ceremony at Element by Westin Kuala Lumpur on 3rd November 2021.
The ceremony will be officiated by Guest of Honour YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, Minister of Finance Malaysia.

Day/Date: Wednesday 3 November 2021
Time: 7:00pm to 10:00pm (note: dinner will be served)

Important Health & Safety Note: To comply with the current health and safety SOPs, all guests must be fully vaccinated at least two (2) weeks prior the event date.

7:00 pm: Arrival of guests and members of the media (38th floor)
7:45 pm: Arrival of Guest of Honour YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, Minister of Finance Malaysia
8:00 pm: Opening Performance
8:10 pm: Welcome remarks by Datuk Mohd Nasir Ahmad, Chairman of CIMB Group
8:15 pm: Dinner is served (note: sit-down dinner)
8:50 pm: Arts and culture showcase – "Sepatah Dua Kata"
9:00 pm: Speech and official launch of the TripART collaboration and CIMB Artober Hotel Art Fair 2021 by YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz
9:20 pm: Official visit by the Minister of Finance, guests and media to the CIMB Artober Hotel Art Fair 2021 galleries (45th floor)
10:00 pm: End of event
About the TripART Collaboration
The TripART collaboration between CIMB Group, CENDANA and Yayasan Hasanah was conceptualised to cater to the need for both the public and private sectors to effectively collaborate in supporting local artists, performers and craftsmen within the marketplace, thus strengthening the economic viability of the local arts and cultural ecosystem. Under the collaboration, the three partner organisations are each spearheading their respective campaigns that will collectively uplift the arts, cultural and heritage scene, namely CIMB Artober, CENDANA’s Art In The City (“AITC”) and Yayasan Hasanah’s Arts For All Seasons (“ArtsFAS”).
About CIMB Artober Hotel Art Fair 2021
The CIMB Artober Hotel Art Fair 2021 will be held from 4th to 7th November 2021, where over 50 artists represented by 10 art galleries as well as beneficiaries and partners of CIMB Foundation, CENDANA and Yayasan Hasanah displaying their artworks and handicrafts in hotel rooms that have been converted into mini galleries.
