MIDA ANNUAL MEDIA CONFERENCE 2022: ANNOUNCEMENT OF MALAYSIA'S APPROVED INVESTMENTS FOR 2021

The Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) is pleased to invite you to the MIDA Annual Media Conference (AMC) 2022 on the announcement of Malaysia’s Investment Performance for the year 2021.
The comprehensive approved investments registered for 2021 will be disclosed at AMC 2022. It will then be followed by the launch of the Investment Performance Report (IPR) 2021.
Malaysia continued to attract high-quality investments in 2021 through the various initiatives and facilitation by the Government. For the period of January - September 2021 alone, Malaysia recorded stellar investment growth of 51.5% year-on-year with approved investments amounting to RM177.8 billion in the manufacturing, services and primary sectors; and is expected to generate 79,899 job opportunities in the country.
During the AMC 2022, YB. Dato' Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali, Senior Minister and Minister of International Trade and Industry (MITI) will divulge Malaysia’s 2021 investment performance for both international and domestic investments across the manufacturing, services and primary sectors; the contribution to socio-economy and other key highlights. The approved investments are expected to surpass the performance of previous years.

Important Note:
Taking into account the standard operating procedures to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 virus, all attendees are required to conduct an Antigen Rapid Test Kit (RTK-Antigen) prior to the event. Kindly show evidence of RTK or PCR test report with negative results conducted (a PCR test report within 48 hours is sufficient).
The event will comply with strict SOPs. All attendees are required to wear a face mask.
