DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER DATO' SERI DR AHMAD ZAHID HAMIDI TO LAUNCH "HALAL INDUSTRY MASTER PLAN 2030"

The global Halal industry is expected to grow exponentially, supported by the growth of the Muslim population and a shift in demand globally from both Muslims and non-Muslims towards ethical consumption. Thus, the Halal Industry Master Plan 2030 (HIMP 2030) aims to capitalize on this opportunity by leveraging Malaysia’s Halal industry infrastructure towards becoming the global leader of the Halal industry
In conjunction with the Malaysia Halal Industry Development Council Meeting to be held on 23 March 2023, The Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato' Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, as the Chairman of the Council is to announcement and the launch the HIMP 2030 accompanied by the Minister of International Trade and Industry Malaysia (MITI), YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz.
HDC Chief Executive Officer, Hairol Ariffein Sahari would also be present.
