MEDIA INVITE : THE COOLER EARTH SUSTAINABILITY SUMMIT 2023

CIMB Group cordially invites you to The Cooler Earth Sustainability Summit 2023 (“the Summit”) from 11 to 21 September 2023. Now in its 5th year, the hybrid Summit will be held physically and also broadcast online to local and global audiences to access the event.
Themed Sustainability in Action: Opportunities for a Better Tomorrow, the Summit gathers industry experts, corporate leaders, businesses, NGOs, financiers and investors, policymakers and global citizens to deliberate on the multitude of opportunities for people, businesses and societies, arising from a transition towards a greener economy and more equitable society.
The Summit will feature a Ministerial address by YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, Minister of Investment, Trade & Industry, Malaysia followed by a keynote by Pulitzer Prizewinning author Jared Diamond, Professor of Geography and of Environmental Health Sciences at UCLA, and a call to action by Sir Robert Swan, one of the world’s most prominent explorers.
The Summit is set to deliver a wide range of keynote presentations, business networking sessions to highlight the opportunities and risks in catalysing urgent action across public, private and civil society as well as experiencing a hands-on learning with our partners and NGOs across the region.
With that, we would like to invite members of the media to the opening of The Cooler Earth Sustainability Summit 2023.
