HDC HOSTS HALAL SECTOR FORUM 2023 TO SPUR FURTHER DEVELOPMENT OF THE 5 USD TRILLION HALAL INDUSTRY AND SIGNED MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) WITH PERAK SADC, SME BANK, AND FELCRA EDUCATION

In conjunction with Global Halal Summit 2023 (GHaS 2023) which includes Malaysia International Halal Showcase 2023 (MIHAS 2023), HDC will host Halal Sector Forum 2023 for over 500 delegates who will take part in a variety of sessions including thought-provoking keynotes, insightful panel discussions and interactive networking. YAB Dato' Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Rural and Regional Development, will deliver a keynote address on September 13th, 2023, followed by Mr. Khairul Azwan Harun, Chairman of Halal Development Corporation Berhad, who will give welcome remarks on the first day and Special Remarks on the final day.
Throughout the week-long events, Halal Development Corporation Berhad (HDC) signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Perak SADC, SME BANK, and FELCRA Education to strengthen the Halal Ecosystem, which will be witnessed by Deputy Prime Minister, YAB Dato' Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Bin Hamidi, Chairman of HDC, Mr. Khairul Azwan Harun, Mr. Hairol Ariffein Sahari, Chief Executive Officer of HDC and the key management from respective organizations.
