SQUASH LEGEND, DATUK (DR) NICOL ANN DAVID, TO PRESIDE OVER HERIOT-WATT UNIVERSITY MALAYSIA'S GRADUATION CEREMONY

On behalf of Heriot-Watt University Malaysia (HWUM), we invite members of the media to join us at our upcoming graduation ceremony on Sunday, 14 July 2024.
HWUM will be hosting this event at the Putrajaya Marriott Hotel, celebrating the achievements of over 300 graduating students. A highlight of this ceremony will be the official installation of our esteemed Pro-Chancellor, Datuk (Dr) Nicol Ann David, who was appointed to this role by the University on 17 May 2024.
Datuk (Dr) Nicol Ann David is renowned as a former world number one professional squash player and one of Malaysia’s most revered sports icons. Recognised for her outstanding contributions to sports and dedication to education, her appointment as Pro-Chancellor highlights her ongoing commitment to education and her inspirational journey to success.
After the installation ceremony, Datuk (Dr) Nicol Ann David will confer degrees upon graduates from the University’s School of Engineering & Physical Sciences (EPS) and School of Mathematical & Computer Sciences.
