SIRIM LAUNCHED NEW INDUSTRY STANDARD FOR HEALTHY PURIFICATION RATING OF REFRIGERATING APPLIANCES

SIRIM marks yet another milestone with the launch of new SIRIM Industry Standard, SIRIM 65:2024, Healthy Purification Rating of Refrigerating Appliances for Household and Similar Use - Requirements and Methods of Test in promoting healthier living through advanced refrigeration technology.
The establishment of this new standard is collaboration between SIRIM and Hunan SIRIM Huasheng Certification & Inspection Co., Ltd with the objective to provide a standard that prescribes the requirements and test methods determine the rating and evaluation criteria for healthy purification of household refrigerating appliances and similar use.
Launching of SIRIM 65:2024, Healthy Purification Rating of Refrigerating Appliances for Household and Similar Use - Requirements and Methods of Test Standard will be officiate by the Senior Director Bilateral Economic & Trade Relations Division, Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), Madam Nor Hasnah Badroddin and by the President and Group Chief Executive Officer of SIRIM Berhad, Dato' Indera Ir. Dr. Ahmad Sabirin Arshad.
