MAA TAKAFUL CONTINUES TO PAY PROFIT COMMISSION TO GENERAL TAKAFUL AGENTS

KUALA LUMPUR, September 13 (Bernama)--
In March 2012, MAA Takaful Berhad (MAA Takaful) became the first takaful operator in Malaysia to declare and pay profit commission to its qualifying general takaful agents.
“We are proud to announce that MAA Takaful continues to declare and pay out the Agents’ Profit Commission for the period 2009 to 2011. This is indeed a great year for us having recently paid out our maiden Profit Commission for the period 2008 to 2010,” said En. Salim Majid Zain, Chief Executive Officer of MAA Takaful Berhad.
This is in line with the philosophy of equal treatment to all stakeholders in sharing the profits of the company as a whole. It also reflects the Shariah principles of equitability and mutuality. MAA Takaful strives to ensure that this encouraging incentive is continuously distributed.
At the same time, MAA Takaful continues to expand its general takaful business through its agency channel. The payment of profit commission has generated more quality business from its agency force. This in turn has encouraged the recruitment of new agents for the organisation.
