PETROSAINS DINOTREK 2 AT MIRI PETROLEUM MUSEUM REOPENS

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 18 (Bernama) -- Petrosains DinoTrek 2, the interactive dinosaur exhibition, housed at Miri Petroleum Museum, Canada Hill, Miri, Sarawak, that was temporarily closed beginning 6 September 2012, will be reopened on 19 September 2012. The exhibition was closed to the public for safety reasons as the venue was flooded after a heavy downpour on Wednesday night, 5 September 2012, due to a leaking roof.
An engineering team from Kuala Lumpur had been deployed to conduct a safety inspection at the exhibition venue and repair the damages.
The exhibition is organised by Petrosains, The Discovery Centre which is located at Level 4, Suria KLCC, Kuala Lumpur. This exhibition has a total of 9 animatronics dinosaurs and 12 highly interactive exhibits, allowing families to experience the process of discovery and hands-on learning.
Petrosains DinoTrek 2 is open to public from 1 September 2012 – 30 April 2013. Admission hours are from 8.30am to 5.30pm on weekdays and from 8.30am to 6.30pm on weekends and public holidays. Ticket prices are RM10.00 for adults and RM5.00 for visitors aged 5 to 17. For more information, please log on to www.petrosains.com.my.
