Almex System Technology Asia Sdn. Bhd. ("ASTA"), Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur ("Pantai KL"), and Almex Inc. ("Almex"), entered into an MOU on January 28 to introduce an automated patient registration system in Pantai's flagship hospital in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
  
The MOU was executed by Hideyori Hirahara, Managing Director of ASTA, Ronald Koh, Group COO of Pantai Holdings, Anwar Anis, Chief Executive Officer of Pantai KL, and Shohei Mabuchi, President of Almex, in a simple ceremony at the corporate office located in Pantai KL.
  
Under the MOU, Almex, through its wholly owned subsidiary in Malaysia, ASTA, will install a kiosk on a trial basis to facilitate speedy out-patient registration and issuance of numbers for their doctors' consultation. By introducing this automation system, Pantai KL expects to upgrade the patient service level, reduce patients' waiting time and boost efficiency of the hospital operation process whilst saving work time.
 
Pantai KL is the pioneer to adopt such an automatic reception kiosk in Malaysia, highly evaluating ASTA/Almex's technology and know-how in hospital management solutions, with the main objective of reducing the stress of waiting time and creating better patient experience.
