Largest single runway airport in the world is now able to simulate capacity fluctuations in real time

SAN FRANCISCO, April 7 (Bernama-BUSINESS WIRE) -- Gatwick, the world’s largest single runway airport, has implemented Anaplan to harness greater speed and accuracy across its entire passenger forecasting operations. With the introduction of the Anaplan platform, teams across the business now have access to one source of passenger information and the ability to simulate multiple future scenarios.
 
Gatwick is leveraging Anaplan’s forecasting capability to predict and optimise complex demand planning on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis as 41 million passengers are expected to travel through the airport’s facilities this year.
