PUTRAJAYA, June 30 (Bernama) -- The Minister of Foreign Affairs, YB Dato’ Sri Anifah Haji Aman hosted an Iftar session on 29 June 2016 at Wisma Putra, Putrajaya. The event was graced by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, YBhg. Tan Sri Othman Hashim, members of the diplomatic corps, former Ambassadors, members of the media and Ministry officials.

The event provided guests with the opportunity for engagement with the Minister as well as each other’s company in the spirit of sharing and caring that is Ramadan. The event was especially interesting for members of the diplomatic corps experiencing the Iftar event for the first time.

During the event, the Foreign Minister also took the opportunity to present Hari Raya gift packets to children from the Madrasah Tahfiz Raudhatul Baiduri and Madrasatul Quran Al-Ridzuan as well as members of the Wisma Putra staff.
