MELBOURNE, Australia, July 18, 2016/Medianet International-AsiaNet/ --

The Hertz Corporation (NYSE: HTZ) https://www.hertz.com, the world's largest airport general use car rental company, has released its 2016-2017 Value Vouchers programme, offering car rental customers visiting Australia and New Zealand a wide range of bonus deals on attractions and activities including accommodation, theme parks and sightseeing.

Customers from the Asia Pacific region are eligible for their complementary Value Vouchers with every holiday rental made online or through a reservation centre. These special offers include two-for-one deals, 20 per cent off scenic cruises, free add-ons as well as cash vouchers for accommodation.

There are five versions featuring deals from popular states in Australia such as Victoria, New South Wales and Western Australia as well as across New Zealand. Each Value Voucher booklet contains at least 30 specials, with a total of 162 available offers for renters.

The Value Vouchers are currently available in print at selected reservation centres, Hertz counters, Travel Agents and partners' offices; and downloadable online at www.hertz.com/valuevouchers.

"We're excited to announce this year's exclusive offers for Hertz's customers visiting Australia and New Zealand, as part of our popular Value Vouchers programme," said Chris Rusden, Vice President Hertz Asia Pacific. "We want to help our customers experience the very best that these two beautiful countries have to offer. It's all part of our mission to provide them with the best value."

The Travel Confidence Index reports that 70 per cent of travellers from the Asia Pacific want to travel at least as much in 2016 as last year, including 27 per cent who want to travel more.[1]

More than seven million travellers visited Australia between March 2015 and March 2016, an increase of almost eight per cent year on year, with travellers from Asia making up almost 50 per cent of the total arrivals.[2]
