CLUTCH GROUP PRESIDENT BRANDON DANIELS JOINS KEYNOTE PANEL ON ASIA ANTI-CORRUPTION ENFORCEMENT AT INNOXCELL ANNUAL SYMPOSIUM (IAS 2016) IN SINGAPORE

Thursday 08/09/2016

NEW YORK, Sept 8 (Bernama-BUSINESS WIRE) -- Clutch Group, a leading legal, risk, and compliance analytics and managed services firm, is supporting the InnoXcell Annual Symposium (IAS 2016), one of the world’s largest and most comprehensive legal and regulatory compliance conferences. This year, IAS 2016 covers topics such as Anti-corruption, eDiscovery, Fraud Prevention, Financial Crime Analysis Governance, Risk and Compliance. The event will be held at the Marriott Tang Plaza in Singapore on September 8th.

Brandon Daniels, President of Clutch Group will be joining the opening panel along with Leo Tsao, Assistant Chief, Department of Justice, FCPA Unit and Thierry Olivier Desmet, Assistant Director, FCPA Unit, US Securities and Exchange Commission. The panel will focus on Asia Anti-Corruption Enforcement and Disclosure in light of the DOJ’s Fraud Section of the Criminal Division’s release of their Foreign Corrupt Practices Act Enforcement Plan and Guidance. Moderating the panel will be Kyle Wombolt, Partner, Herbert Smith Freehills.

“We are pleased to support IAS 2016 in part because of the incredible caliber of attendees from across the region,” said Daniels. “It is rare to have the opportunity to share thoughts with such an impressive congress of regulatory and financial services thought leaders, legal and compliance professionals, digital forensic experts and current regulators. The developments we discuss here including the DOJ plan directly impact our clients and how we help them establish a plan for working with regulators, managing complaints and conducting investigations.”

This new DOJ Plan and Guidance is intended to promote both transparency and accountability in FCPA cases by outlining the benefits that companies may receive where they voluntarily self-disclose FCPA-related misconduct, fully cooperate with the Fraud Section, and, where appropriate, remediate flaws in their controls and compliance programs.

Clutch’s own Samir Ismayilov, Director of Litigation & Investigation based in Hong Kong, will also be speaking on another panel addressing eDiscovery and Early Case Assessment in Investigations. He will be joined by Abigail Cooke and Stuart Hall, both APAC Account Managers with kCura. This is the second consecutive year that Clutch Group has supported the InnoXcell Annual Symposium.
