KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 21 (Bernama) -- MQA would like to clarify a report in an English newspaper dated Tuesday, 20th Dec 2016 about 45 students from a local education institution who have graduated but yet to receive their diplomas which was claimed to be accredited by MQA. This report refers to a collaboration in the field of hospitality with an Australian institution.
 
MQA has no dealings with this institution as alleged in the said article by the local newspaper. The institution, accordingly to our records, never applied for accreditation nor was granted one.
 
We hope that with this clarification, the readers and general public will be not be misled about the accreditation status of the programme at issue.
