KUALA LUMPUR, May 17 (Bernama) -- PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad (PDB) celebrated Mother’s Day in a special way by treating its customers complimentary Mornings@Mesra breakfast combo last Sunday at the PETRONAS Station Sri Hartamas. About 200 motorists who dropped by in the morning were pleasantly surprised with a special breakfast package, which consists of morning pick-me-ups: packed nasi lemak and coffee as well as cupcakes specially baked for Mother’s Day. 
 
The Mornings@Mesra programme, which was introduced last March at close to 500 participating Kedai Mesra, aimed to provide breakfast options to morning commuters who are on the go. Priced affordably at RM5, each breakfast combo offers a can of Nescafe and a scrumptious meal that differs by location, so that customers are able to enjoy the best and freshest fare that the locality has to offer. 
 
Commenting on the initiative, PDB’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mohd Ibrahimnuddin Mohd Yunus said, “We at PETRONAS are always thinking of exciting ways to reward our loyal customers and perk their day up. This Mother’s Day breakfast giveaway is a small but meaningful gesture for us to show appreciation to our customers and we truly hope that this simple surprise will bring a smile and make their day.
 
“We will continue to surprise our customers with special promotions and deals from time to time to ensure they always have a pleasant retail experience with us,” Ibrahimnuddin added. 
 
To promote Mornings@Mesra to a wider audience, PDB held similar breakfast giveaways in the past month targeting public transport commuters and students at business hubs and colleges including Nu Sentral, Inti College and Bangsar LRT station. The next Mornings@Mesra giveaway is scheduled for 22 May at Avenue K, so be sure to drop by!
