SERDANG, June 20 (Bernama) -- Putra Business School (PBS) launched one-of-a-kind
specialized Master of Science (MSc) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programs. These two programs are designed for individuals who aspire to become researchers in
seven specialized areas like Management, Accounting, Finance, Human Potential, Marketing, Hospitality and Governance. Applications are now open and PBS will welcome its first cohort of students in September 2017. The closing date for the September 2017 intake will be on 18 August 2017 for local applicants and 30 June 2017 for international applicants.
These new thesis-based post-graduate programs offered by PBS will help in providing educators, business researchers and professional contributors to the society with the latest knowledge, skills, and tools. These programs are part of a wave of new specialized and professional programs recently launched by PBS that are designed to prepare a new generation of human leaders with the preferred human qualities and attributes as well as the skills to address the increasingly complex challenges facing the industry.
PBS is one of the elite business schools in the region that receives the respected Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accreditation. The other new academic programmes offered by PBS include Professional MBA in Human Potential Management (in collaboration with Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management), MBA in Marketing (in collaboration with Institute of Marketing Malaysia (IMM)) and MBA in Accounting. All programmes are approved by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia.
