CYBERJAYA, Aug 15 (Bernama) -- Team Baby Blocks won the US$10,000 grand prize at the Malaysia Developers’ Day 2017, jointly organized by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and AT&T. The team won for the
IoT app it created during the 24-hour contest.
The winning app is a sharing economy app to redistribute unutilized baby products.

AT&T (second right) presented the award to Team Baby Blocks on Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017.
The MCMC/AT&T 2017 Malaysia Developers’ Day drew 161 contestants from all over Asia. Thirty three apps came out of the event. The following teams also took home prizes:
2nd Place – Team I Horus for an app that addresses issues of personal safety at home and empowers everyone to live independently and worry free.
3rd Place – Team Y for an app that is able to detect viral disease earlier by using data analytics on smart devices from high-risk insurers.
