KUALA LUMPUR, May 23 (Bernama) -- Known as the holiest month in the Islamic calendar, Ramadhan is both a spiritual and festive time of the year for our fellow Muslims. To celebrate Ramadhan, the BiiB team has come up with #GetFitAndGiveBack to get fit and give back to society (sadaqah) during the fasting month.

To promote an active lifestyle and strengthen self-discipline, influential runners a.k.a. Team Leaders lead participants to run/walk at least 2KM daily for two consecutive weeks. This event is also organized to serve as a reminder for us to be grateful, and to lend a hand to those in need.

It is comprised of three core parties - the Team Leader, participants and the beneficiary. Having identified the beneficiary, the Team Leader is tasked to gather friends and family to join his team to raise funds which are in the form of participation fees. We currently have two influential runners, Mr. Azmi and Mr. Aizat who are onboard as Team Leaders working to fundraise for MAKNA and BAITUL KASIH respectively.

Ramadhan #GetFitAndGiveBack is open for registration and the event will start on May 24th, 2018 for 2 weeks. Participation fees are set at a minimum of RM20 and those who wish to participate and donate can do so at this link:
